When it comes to having a good time in the small town of Clarkson, KY, you must be prepared for the fact that your options are going to be limited. But then again, if you rely on my advice, I'm sure I can come up with plenty of ways to fill your time. Sure, this city isn't a vacation hot spot, but if you like golfing, going out on the lake or watching a movie, then you can rest assured that your vacationing dreams can be fulfilled.
Here's a quick look at three top activities to partake in while visiting the one and only city of Clarkson. Going to see a movie If you're wanting to see the latest George Clooney movie, then go ahead and bank on taking a 30-minute trip to Elizabethtown KY. While you're there, you'll have plenty of places to dine at, including Ginzas, O'Charley's, Red Lobster and Texas Roadhouse. Going golfing Hitting up the greens isn't a dream that you have to give up on when vacationing in Clarkson, KY. In fact, a 25 minute drive to Shady Hollow Golf Course will surely meet all of your golf-lover expectations. This one of a kind 18-hole golf course boasts luscious greens and a club house that serves hot dogs and plenty of delicious drinks. My husband and I hit up this golf course at least once a week, and we never get bored. Going out on the lake When you stay in Clarkson, KY, you'll have two lakes to take advantage of: Nolin and Rough River. Both areas offer camping grounds, several mom-and-pop restaurants, and best of all, they boast beaches for your kids to splish-and-splash in during the warmer parts of the year. Comments are closed.
